How to export code from an AI game maker
Updated October 25, 2026
Many AI game platforms host your game for you. If you want to sell it or keep developing elsewhere, check export options early.
Builds versus source
A build is a playable package (for example HTML5); source is the editable project. You usually want both.
Check the platform's export options
Look for HTML5 export, download project or GitHub options in the tool's settings or plan comparison.
Move to an engine if needed
If a prompt-to-game tool cannot export, use it for prototyping and rebuild the final game in an engine that exports to your target platforms.
